The Brief
UK men’s, women’s and kid’s fashion retailer, Peacocks, has ambitious goals when it comes to their online sales, particularly those acquired through paid channels, such as PPC. During their normal periods, Peacocks has a target COS (Cost of Sale) of 16%, and 20% during their sales periods. They came to us to help hit these targets in the most efficient way possible.
The Solution
- Our first step was to pause all standard Shopping campaigns that were currently live
- We created a new Smart Shopping campaign for ‘All Products’. This was then left to run for a month to identify the top-performing items and products that Peacocks would like to focus on
- Once these were identified, we then created standard Shopping campaigns for these top-performing items and set them to a high priority
- We eliminated non-brand Shopping campaigns
Our Results
- Since taking over the account and changing to Smart Shopping, we have seen a 367.88% increase in conversions
- The account is running at a average Cost of Speed of 15.79% vs last year’s metrics, which were running at an average Cost of Speed of 21.65%
