The content team grows bigger! Welcome Becca!

The content team grows bigger! Welcome Becca!

As The Audit Lab grows with more clients and more exciting projects to be tasked with, more content is needed! As such, we welcome on board our latest recruit, Rebecca Nicholson to grow our Content team and as is tradition, we’ve thrown over some fun questions over to learn a bit more about our new content writer.

First (and honest) impressions of The Audit Lab and everyone in it?

Great working space, very friendly and welcoming people with a room full of banter which is good to see! Alan Partridge quotes have already been referenced… Great banter. Jurassic Park!

Describe The Audit Lab in three words

Chilled, innovative and technical.

What did you do previously?

I’ve got a range of interests, I’ve done social media and copywriting as part of my freelance enterprise, worked as an in-house social media manager and have been a teacher.

Thoughts on agency life so far?

It’s really exciting to be juggling work as being an agency, there’s a vast range of clients that are so different! I could be writing about cool furniture designs one day to erotica content the next could you believe!

So what exactly do you do here?

As a Digital Content Executive, I’m here to work on editorial calendars and deliver content in line with brands’ goals and values. Research, ideation, SEO formatting and writing is what I’m up to in order to create SEO content for all our clients with a commercial mind. Everything is part of a bigger picture and a technical strategy.

What motivates you in your work?

Knowing that all that I do is to help businesses grow and prosper. I love adding value to their online strategies, as we’re all living in a digital world now and I genuinely find it all fascinating and productive and I don’t want businesses to miss out!

What’s the best part of your working day?

Visiting the sweet bowl room. Also known as the Board Room, I guess…

What are you looking forward to at The Audit Lab?

Being able to deliver results due to our team’s input with content & SEO helping drive more traffic for our clients.

Also, everytime the sweet & chocolate bowl gets topped up.

What did you want to be when you were growing up?

Quite a few different things, from a vet to a university lecturer!

What’s your favourite animal?

Would have to say cats. A lot of my Instagram feed is filled with cats. There are some great cat profiles out there and some with over a million followers! Shoutout @WilfredWarrior

Tell us something we don’t know about you…

I’ve presented a weekly Rock Show for my local radio station.

What’s your brew order?

Don’t drink them but since there is an appointed brew maker I’m partial to a peppermint tea now.

You’re having a dinner party with any three people from history, dead or alive, who do you invite?

Plato, Stephen Fry and Derren Brown

You’re going to a deserted island, what three things do you take with you?

Flare gun, Nick Boyle and a Bible

What’s your guilty pleasure?

Keeping up with the Kardashians.

We wish Rebecca all the best at The Audit Lab and look forward to more content as we grow and develop! If you see any cat content creeping in, we now know why… To stay up to date on our own content from useful tips, what we’re involved in and insightful blogs, follow us on all our socials: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn.
